The Amateur Theatre Group of Laconia (ETHOL), for the first time in its 25-year history, presents an ancient tragedy.
The Lakonia Amateur Theatre Group (ETHOL), for the first time in its 25-year history, presents an ancient tragedy for the summer theatrical season of 2026, specifically Euripides' Medea, translated by Giorgos Cheimonas and directed by Dimitris Agora.
This is a large and ambitious production with a 17-member cast, original costumes and original music based on ancient instruments, such as the barbitos, kitharis, lyre, and ancient Greek aulos.
The performance is accompanied by the presence of two musicians on stage, as well as impressive sets and lighting, which contribute to the creation of a particularly atmospheric theatrical experience.
