The timeless work by Molière "The Imaginary Invalid" is presented at the Sainopouleio Amphitheatre. The masterpiece of world comedy speaks of something deeply human: the fear of health, the anxiety in the face of illness, the insecurity that more or less all of us have felt. Because however strong we may seem, we remain vulnerable. The play's hero, Argan, lives this fear to the extreme -- convinced that every symptom is a harbinger of the end.

Through exaggeration and caustic humour, Molière satirises our obsessions and at the same time liberates us from them...

The adaptation and direction are by Thanasis Papathanasiou and Michalis Reppas, who approach the classic work with freshness, rhythm, and a contemporary perspective, highlighting both its explosive humour and its timelessness.

The stage design is elevated by Yiannis Metzikof with his impressive sets and costumes, while Melina Mascha's lighting completes an aesthetically perfect and brilliant result.

"The Imaginary Invalid" returns to remind us, with laughter and tenderness, that perhaps the best medicine against our fears is to laugh with them... again and again!
