On the occasion of 90 years since the birth of Nikos Xylouris, a high-calibre production is presented at the Sainopouleio Amphitheatre. The "Archangel of Crete", as Psaronikos was known, comes to life theatrically for the first time, through a performance that combines live music, unpublished photographs, valuable audio recordings, and narration.

The narrative focuses on his journey from Anogeia and Crete under occupation, to the music clubs of Athens and the peak of his public presence, which became synonymous with the struggle, dignity, and hope of an entire era. Key figures in the country's artistic and cultural life will also be revived on stage, such as Jenny Karezi, Kostas Kazakos, Iakovos Kampanellis, Stavros Xarchakos, Christos Leontis, and others.

The work attempts to introduce Xylouris not only as a symbolic voice, but as the inner universe of a man who sang with the soul of a people.
